Prof. Dipl. Des. Kostas Medugorac
is a German industrial designer, design consultant and creative coach.
Growing up as a son of a HfG Ulm (Hochschule für Gestaltung Ulm) designer, he got in close contact with design from a very early age on.
After his study at the State Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart with Richard Sapper and an internship at Thonet (Frankenberg) he started his own studio.
He has created products ranging from furniture to complex medical products with different teams, partners and by himself. He works with well-known customers like Mercedes-Benz, Mettler-Toledo, Carl Zeiss Meditec, Magazin and Blocher Partners Architects.
He also works as an interior designer and is co-founder of a startup producing musical instruments.
In addition to his work as a designer, he is a passionate teacher and creative coach. In several workshops and lectures he created whole new ideas and approaches with the teams.
In his working life he was often honored for his work, last with the red dot 'best of the best' industrial design.
Since 2020 he is a Professor for Design at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology.
